This is EDM pop -- this is the ultimate combination of the IDM grind for pure dancehouse numbers along with the ambivilently shallow pop parade of artists like the spice girls. It's crazy that i even like this album as its 2000's girl pop influences are SO obvious. (And as for track "i love it", featuring charli xcx -- i love it!) It's an unabashedly simple album about 2 girlfriends loving life and partying together, (Again, i'm surprised i like this so much as i haven't partied with my girlfriends in over a decade!) The charging grungy and blippy house beats and seemingly authentic comradery make this party album tick (although it loses steam after "on a roll"). They're spreading love and having fun and you will too when you listen to this album from...icona pop.
