Artists sometimes succeed in their goal: after deep exploration, hours and years of plumbing their weird depths and refining their craft and workmanship, it happens--for some limited time, they catch fire. This is the product of Nina Hagen catching fire. All of her other work is fun and interesting and wild and occasionally inspired (also sometimes fairly disappointing), but this is the one where she went to another level, and basically put Magick on wax. Fire is intense, so it's not casual or background listening, obv. I'll say it again: fire.
