The variety of musical styles is impressive (sometimes on top of house beat, sometimes not), frequently switching things up even within the same track. And it's all really well put together, the DJs/producers deserve a lot of credit. I especially liked the funky guitar, bass and horns which were played by famous funk musicians. Great album and fun listen.

Just a great album from start to finish. I thought so at the time, and I still love it after all these years.
Favorite Tracks:Good Beat
Nothing earth shattering here, just some really fun dance music. And, of course, "Groove is in the Heart" is a classic.

This record encapsulates the sounds of the times. A pretty groovy album.

Just fun. Stop thinking so much, and you'll like it.
Overall, this is a pretty decent album that has more going for it than "Groove..." In fact, the whole second half of the albums is well worth the price of admission.
