This album is similar to Cale’s later album Hobosapiens, a pop experiment that may miss the mark sometimes, but when it hits, it hits hard. The best songs on here are the last 3 tracks and “So Much for Love”. I’d quite like a mixtape that contains the best tracks from this album and the best tracks from Hobosapiens.
Walking on Locusts is a triumph, and I would recommend it to any Cale fan.
