I always seem to end up liking an album like this at the end of every year -- indie pop albums with a flair for catchy hooks but not really anything i haven't heard before. In the case of Lucius, these sassy, old-school-ish girls are hip. They sound both indie and retro-motown at the same time. It's a cool sound and a promising debut for these girls.
