This is where they started to get interesting.
This is where D.M. took a hold of my musical senses...
This album is so underrated, of of course that’s only one vote.
But since the 80’s are my favorite, I think I have at least a strong 1 vote.

Depeche Mode's fourth album sees them pulling further away from their throwaway pop beginnings. The songwriting is improving too, especially on, people are people, somebody, and, master and servant. Still a little bit of filler but it's becoming less and less with each release. Good album.
Great album which I think is their second best after Violator.
Solid album. The singles are all classics.
