This is the quintessential electric jazz bass album. It has it all; composition, melody, harmony, and phenomenal technical brilliance.

What a phenomenal bassist, man. The harmonics, the melodies, the vibrance and clarity in expression and dynamic mastery. As I said elsewhere, there isn't much that can top Pastorius. Continuum and A Portrait of Tracy are incredibly beautiful, reflective tracks that completely captivate your mind and soul
