I can't believe this has the same producer as their last two albums. This album sounds like a low energy muddled mess compared to the previous two. Where's the electricity?
Best Tracks: Life is Strange, Tenement Lady
This record has 5 really good tracks. It's a very interesting record, brilliant in places but missing the mark somehow. If you into T.Rex though you know it's essential.

An overlooked great album by Bolan better than *The Slider" and lies 2nd to Electric Warrior for consistency . None of the tracks were released as singles an unusual event back then. Overall the album holds together as a complete unit with Bolan introducing a more soulful sound.

The start is somewhat slow, but after that it's solid Bolan, with the occasional grandeur verging on bombastic - but on the right side. Good.

A little less consistent than Electric Warrior and The Slider, but Tanx has some excellent songs.

This is the last great T. Rex album!!! If you like T Rex this is a must have.
