An all time classic, as well as the beginning of the so-called "Ditch Trilogy" along with On The Beach, and Tonight's The Night, which are classics also. All are HIGHLY recommended. (Edited)

The beginning of the famed Ditch Trilogy. Time Fades Away is definitely the weakest link in the chain. It’s not the worst thing ever like Neil Young seemed to think (he pretty much denies the existence of this album), it just doesn’t work as well as the other entries in the trilogy.

I consider this to be a pretty ballsy record for Neil Young. He rebounded after a commercial smash with a live album of new material. I know its not one of Neil's personal favorites and its probably the weakest of the "Ditch trilogy" but its still a great album.

A live album of new material that documents a time whereby N.Y was at war with his band as well as his audience who wanted 'Harvest' and instead got .... this

A third of the Ditch trilogy and an essential album for rock fans
