Outliers can be removed when calculating a mean average to dampen the effects of ratings outside the normal distribution. This figure is provided as the trimmed mean. Fun, with nice instrumentation and for the most part well produced album. I don't have a long list of albums that are basically just fun (although a bit melancholic) but this is definitely one of them.
"Look at Granny" is the only song that is almost completely unremarkable, all the other ones I have found myself singing them out loud at random points.
The title track is catchy and so dumb that is funny, I adore it.
The track "Wild" has some pretty clever and satisfying chord changes, which is surprising coming from Grand Funk.
"Good and Evil" is trippy, groovy, weird and a very good song overall.
"Bad Time" and "Some Kind" are just GFR classics, and I have a personal preference for the former.
This is probably the Grand Funk album that I listened the most, even though I for one consider their debut and the self titled better albums, this one here is an addictive listen.
