Difficult to explain why I like this. Something about its immediacy and Detroit-style rawness. Of course, the punk core stylings are nearly outdone by another 2014 favorite, Ought's More Than Any Other Day.

This is an oversimplification, but this album reminds me of the strokes if they had been obsessed with Manchester rather than New York. Solid album.
