Starts and ends very well, the first & last 4 tracks. A bit hit and miss through the middle.

Conor has lost the inspiration he once had as a youth and the fire and determination he had on his debut. This album reminds me of "i'm wide awake, it's morning", the same attempt at deep hidden meaning, but lacking the execution and the tuneful ear.

I love this! So uplifting with hints of Paul Simon.
like it even more than at first - this is really good. Will probably go unnoticed though.
It's pretty good! I've been mixed on some of his solo stuff, but this has some better tunes and the feel of some of his older stuff - intentionally I think.
