Rating metrics:
Outliers can be removed when calculating a mean average to dampen the effects of ratings outside the normal distribution. This figure is provided as the trimmed mean. A high standard deviation can be legitimate, but can sometimes indicate 'gaming' is occurring. Consider a simplified example* of an item receiving ratings of 100, 50, & 0. The mean average rating would be 50. However, ratings of 55, 50 & 45 could also result in the same average. The second average might be more trusted because there is more consensus around a particular rating (a lower deviation).
(*In practice, some albums can have several thousand ratings)
This album is rated in the top 3% of all albums on BestEverAlbums.com. This album has a Bayesian average rating of 77.2/100, a mean average of 78.7/100, and a trimmed mean (excluding outliers) of 78.7/100. The standard deviation for this album is 8.6.

This album is a live radio session recorded for KCRW on 18 April 2013 at Apogee Studio in Los Angeles a couple of months after the release of 'Push The Sky Away'
The first 9 tracks are stripped-down versions of 4 'Push The Sky Away' tracks and 5 Cave classics . The 10th and final track is a full plugged in band version of 'Jack The Ripper'
Track 1: "Higgs Boson Blues" from 'Push The Sky Away' , so named after the Higgs Boson particle AKA "The God Particle"
Track 2: "Far from Me" from 'The Boatman's Call'
Track 3: "Stranger Than Kindness" from 'Your Funeral... My Trial' , written by Anita Lane and Blixa Bargeld
Track 4: "The Mercy Seat" from 'Tender Prey'
Track 5: "And No More Shall We Part" from No More Shall We Part
Track 6: "Wide Lovely Eyes" from 'Push The Sky Away'
Track 7: "Mermaids" from 'Push The Sky Away'
Track 8: "People Ain't No Good" from 'The Boatman's Call'
Track 9: "Push the Sky Away" from 'Push The Sky Away'
Track 10: "Jack the Ripper" from 'Henry's Dream'
Utterly wonderful
