Sorry I didn't find this haunting, I found it boring.
Some of Harris's warmest and lovelist work is found here, but still has that slightly eerie ambience that's always present. You get the feeling that this is a deeply personal project, but she occasionally withholds a little too much from the listener for it to truly feel like an emotionally-charged, lived-in experience. The gorgeous Clearing proves Liz would've also made an excellent left-field indie-pop musician.
Very relaxing listen. Definitely a great listen for a quiet night. Really enjoyed the peaceful piano and ambiance on this one.
