I lost track of Fates Warning in the early 2000s, and that was a mistake. This is an exceptional album. It is equal parts heavy, progressive and melodic, the seamless melding of which is no mean feat. Excellent songwriting as well plus some particularly tasty skin banging by Mark Zonder.
