Post Heaven 17 and Proto Pet Shop Boyz. 75/100 is quite generous. The last songs improved the overall effect.
the ambitious attempt goes nowhere synth pop
A classic album in the style of David Bowie and Roxy Music. The vocals are wonderfully over the top and the songs bring on air of theatricality which is a perfect fit for the style of the songs. Sulk, is a great album which should be more widely known.

I love this album, but Fourth Drawer Down is even better in my opinion. Perhaps Dundee's best ever band.

A spiritual cousin of MBV's Loveless, Sulk was a great mix of the Associates skewed pop and of studio experimentation.
'Sulk' is a masterpiece - a brilliant and often overlooked album. Billy McKenzie has the most amazing voice that sweeps and soars through every track on this album.
