The tail-end of this album is a bit dissapointing, either she feels a bit too dry production-wise or her performance not quite living up to the swelling sense of grandeur and purpose (especially on the closer "Immortal"), but otherwise she's in superb form here in an album both irrestibly danceable as it is surprisingly cosmopolitan and affecting. Her deep tenor of a voice and subtly cheeky humor remain her strongest weapons, as she shows she can be play the superstar diva and the surprisingly nimble chameleon with ease. Motley, zesty and just really well-produced pop, what more can you ask for? Maybe being more aware when the tank is no longer full, but still a mostly excellent release regardless.

a step back from her previous albums, but at least it got a few good singles and one hell of a closer
I agree that the first half is better - the last 3 are duds for me - but her songwriting skills really shine in this. Definitely her best, most personal, and most achieved album
