The Chemical Brothers are holistically, more than the sum of their parts. By this, I mean that they are a great band/music producers not defined by numerous classic albums. Each album has obvious weaknesses but at the height of their tracks they produce some of the most visceral movement music you will ever hear. I challenge you to, if not dance, at least to not move to the beats they boom at you. Close your eyes and be transported to a world where you are stimulated to joyously move your body. Hey Boy, Hey Girl is quite possibly THE defining dance track of the turn of the century when nearly everyone was on the dance floor for millennium celebrations.
Groundbreaking dance band. Love all there stuff - We are the night a personal favourite.
