I love Pink Flag, have listened to 154 and Chairs missing and I don't think they're quite as good - but still a great band.

They are magnificent. But I must say, I saw them in the 90ies (or was it 2000s?) and that was one of the biggest disappointments I ever experienced. When you do a reunion concert, you should at least behave professionally, (like e.g. Velvet Underground did). Wire were very obviously bored and embarrassed to be forced to get together again.

I know there are more Wire fans out there. It's okay to comment! This band deserves real recognition. I saw them play last night in NYC and they were terrific. They play so fast and precise it was awe inspiring. I am very glad I discovered this group.
An important band. Though Pink Flag is not overrated as it's considered a classic of minimilism, the band's overall output is quite excellent. 154 and Chairs Missing are equally great albums. A great band.
