Great hard rock band with progressive tendencies. Vastly underrated given their actual development and influence, as well as their contributions to the hard rock genre.

When I would visit my cousin, I would find her in her room jamming to Uriah Heep with her black light, psychedelic posters and lava lamp. Since she was 7 yrs older than me I looked up to her and learned from her what the good music was.
My older brother used to blast these guys and Deep Purple a lot back in the 80s, saying the music kinda sucked at the time. I was listening to stuff like Madonna, Tears for Fears, Duran Duran, etc (JUDGE ME LOL) but yeah. The guy's voice must've inspired all the metalheads at school 30 years ago.
Every hard rock listener should know them well!
One of the most influential bands in the hard rock/heavy metal scene. You can tell that Queen, Judas Priest, Iron Maiden, etc. drew influence from these guys.
