It's album cover may look disappointing at first, but soon you realize that it truly is "The Next Day" in regard to the album Heroes, which was released 36 years before it. Both in lyrics and in it's theme, dealing with himself growing old, among other things.

This album is "essential listening" along with Radiohead's OK Computer in that if I had to put an album in a time capsule to define the late 00s through the early 10s, it would be this.
