79/80 was a very interesting crossroad for pop; everybody changed: some new wave bands were moving into new romance (Ultravox), the american rock bands became more slick (Toto, Journey...), the late 70s giants made disco hits (Queen, Elton John, Kiss, Rod Stewart, ELO) and everybody loved the synthesizer...
That's why it is nice to find your chart with mostly quite "genuine" releases.
