Classic UK Punk album - after Brian James left people thought the Damned were finished but this album proved them wrong - nearly every track is great

Outliers can be removed when calculating a mean average to dampen the effects of ratings outside the normal distribution. This figure is provided as the trimmed mean. A high standard deviation can be legitimate, but can sometimes indicate 'gaming' is occurring. Consider a simplified example* of an item receiving ratings of 100, 50, & 0. The mean average rating would be 50. However, ratings of 55, 50 & 45 could also result in the same average. The second average might be more trusted because there is more consensus around a particular rating (a lower deviation).

Everyone seems to be calling this a "punk chart," but that strikes me as grossly unfair. I'd call it more of a "killer rock 'n' roll chart," if I had to call it anything in particular. Anyway, I just felt like someone had to say that.

Coooool! Not enough punk charts here, I get sick of all the Radiohead+Arcade Fire top 10s. It's not diverse but it's without any compromises, 100% honest.

A solid punk chart that is a bit...fan-ish...but solid none the less. Ramones!, E.C., Pistols, Pogues, Dolls, Stooges, Wire, Buzzcocks!...A who's who of tremendous punk. Springsteen, R.E.M. added in for color along with Nick LoweThe fandom kinda limits what what ends up being a tremendous chart for punk recommendation as I got 4 bands and more albums for my wish list.
