My dad use to listen to this band use to play these a lot when I was younger and I still enjoy them as much as i did back then best punk and mod rock band
Still an always "go to band" if I need a shot of adrenaline ...
Crank saturdays kids and you'll know what I mean.
Undervalued on this site, especially by our American cousins. Read somewhere that Weller & The Jam combined have only sold something like 300,000 records in the States.

A good band
The Jam is the best Brit band from the post-punk era. Paul Weller is a musical genious and a great lyricist!!!

They will always define youth...and Weller meant it when he declared "and those golden faces are under 25" in 1977...then he brilliantly split the band before his 25th birthday...thus no need for a talisman...he preserved the band...were as important as the clash and NEVER compromised...aah, the glory days and sweet birds...
