Punk rock pioneers. Though not all their songs are top notch, all their records are worth skimming through. Even in the 80s when music wasn't at it's best, The Ramones released some fire tracks.
Good rocknroll band
I love the Ramones. All of their songs are really fun to listen to, and they pioneered punk rock. However, other than those two things, there's not much else to say about them.

Quite simply the best rock n roll band ever - I saw them live six times and I wish it had been more, their first three albums are just classic in my opinion.

Their debut is timeless. Rocket to Russia is a masterpiece in its own right. It's Alive is pretty amazing. Leave Home and End of the Century are great, and there are great songs on their albums. The self-titled though... it's still fresh.
Never really that great a cartoon band with exception of their first album and the Phil Spector END OF THE CENTURY
