Guilty Pleasures by Keatownrodriguez
Part of me knows the problems with these albums so I guess that makes them guilty pleasures, but I legit love them so I'm not really guilty

I feel like I have to put this on here just because how critically panned it was by some sources, yet here it stands on this website as my favorite record ever made, I will not defend myself, I see no need, I love this album to death, In my eyes it is perfect, it is no guilty pleasure, this is the greatest pleasure I receive from music. I feel like this is a good way to start my list, to show that I like music no matter what people say, if I like it I won't let others opinions ruin it for me, I have no guilty pleasures, that title was clickbait baby.

Weezer is somehow extremely polarizing. Blue and Pinkerton are almost universally loved, but after that it gets dicey. Perhaps THE most polarizing of their albums is Make Beleive. Naysayers say it's too poppy, too mainstream. I can see that in tracks like Beverly Hills and Perfect Situation, but deep cuts like This is Such a Pity and Haunt you Every Day are two of my favorite Weezer tracks to date. People need to get over themselves and enjoy some Make Believe

While I haven't actually been criticized for liking this album, I feel like a small 70's girl when I listen to it so there is a bit of guilt there. Maybe this comes from the fact that this is one of my mom's favorite albums and liking the same music as my mom makes me sort of cringe, but hey this album is genuinely so great. It's sweet, wholesome, and just all-around loveable. Perfect soft 70's pop

I never thought I'd like ANY Fall Out Boy record, these days though their 2008 record Folie A deux is one of my all time favorites, but I'm not even close to ashamed about that one, anyone who likes melodic rock music and has an open mind will LOVE Folie A Deux...... This one, as well as their other modern albums, are more polorizing though. They ditched the pop punk sound in favor of conforming to modern radio pop which still isn't my favorite. Save Rock and roll is a pretty awful album and AB/AP has a few REALLY good songs but is dragged down by mediocrity which is the same for Mania with less filler. Young and Menace, sunshine/riptide, and Church are the only songs on Mania I don't like and the rest I like quite a bit, in my eyes these songs hit a nice blend of pop and rock, but they definetly are more pop. There are even some good lyrics which Fall Out Boy has been lacking since thier magnum opus. Lines like "it seems like the whole damn world went and lost it's mind, and all my childhood heroes have either fallen off or died" I really could defend this album for a while but you either like it or you don't, not much I can do to change that. Unless that is you haven't given it a try cause you assume it sucks, give it a try, you might not like it but hey you'll never know

I don't really know what to say about this group. They're similar to MCR in tone stuff but they failed to make music as timeless as MCR. Pierce the Veil is very much a product of its time, that being said I do enjoy the time that it captures, even if it hasn't aged amazingly.

Do people dislike this album? I don't actually know. Oh well I like this album and this seems like a good place to talk about it. In my mind this is what Paramore wishes they could be. I've listened to my fair share of Paramore but hardly have gotten into them. But this album is very similar sonically to their 2000's efforts but it's done so solidly. Especially on Fire, My House, St. Patrick and Holy

This was the first album that was gifted to me as a kid and I still believe it's a good one. It starts with two original Selena Gomez songs, which are very cheesy but I like them a lot, especially the opener Disappear which is a pretty standard 2000's rock song as opposed to pop, give that song a listen if you haven't decided I'm insane yet. Then the rest of the album is covers of "magic" related tunes. Among them include "Every little thing she does is magic" by The Police, "Strange Magic" by ELO, "Magic" by the Cars, "Magic Carpet Ride" by Steppenwolf and some other cool ones. Most likely if you aren't a person who grew up listening to this or even watching the show you won't care for this, but I stand by this record

I mean it's Panic, sounds pretty cringe if you're not familiar with it, you either get used to it or realize it has some brains behind it, I honestly don't know
