Near perfect 10-song record by one of the greatest song writers in rock'n'roll history. There are no weak tracks only weaker moments in a track. eg: Highway 61 whistling sounds get annoying and the end of Queen Jane's harp can be a bit much after a while. Desolation Row barely feels like it's 11-minutes long to me and of course, the classic Like A Rolling Stone opens up this golden record with a bang.

Though arguably not the best Beatles record, it is one of my personal favorites, and for 1965 this WAS the best Beatles record ever released. Finally able to shed their boy-band-ish reputation with this effort in my opinion; even though I still secretly enjoy early Beatles... To my ears, this album is only marred by Michelle and Girl which are actually quite popular tracks. The classics Nowhere Man and Norwegian Wood along with Drive My Car and You Won't See Me open up to a new Beatles experience at the time. While In My Life at track 11 redeems the lesser tracks that precede it (with the exception of I'm Looking Through You).

Jazz greatness not always pleasing to the ear but always interesting to hear. The avant-garde aspect makes this album not the most accessible Jazz record but it is without a doubt one of the greatest. If you get it, you will hear John Coltrane's genius shine in all the colors you can possibly imagine through this effort.

The perfect transitional album. Turning away from his folk days but still retaining a bit of it on the second half. It is not a perfect record per-se with tracks like Maggie's Farm and Gates of Eden. Yet it holds some of my favorite Dylan tracks in Subterranean Homesick Blues, Mr. Tambourine Man and She Belongs to Me. Ending amazingly with It's Alright, Ma and It's All Over Now, Baby Blue.

Bob Dylan's folk, though at times political, is a lot more relatable on a personal level. This record on the other hand is like reading the news back in 1965 from the voice of a liberal Texan playing an acoustic guitar. Very interesting listen for folk and history lovers alike.
