Between 1960's girl-group pop, Beach Boys-meet-1970's California soft-rock, with a touch of garage... That doesn't come close to describing this enchanting album. Drumming by Tony Allen (what? Yes), The Haden sisters contributing backing vocals (blimey!)... A wonderful collection of songs by a very talented artist.

Very inventive re-imagining of Sir Paul's latest by a bunch of super talented people, via subtle or radical remixes, and total reinventions in some cases. A mixed bag by definition: varied vibes and styles, some more enjoyable than others depending on your taste and mood. Phoebe Bridgers' cover of "Seize the day" is one of the (several) highlights.
