Southern Rock
by Johnnyo
One of my favourite regions for music is from the southern states of the USA. I need to own the album so any suggestions for albums that I've missed would be must appreciated. No compilations or greatest hits. I may have stretched the definition of Southern Rock a bit but I've tried to also go with the spirit of the music. The order here needs some work but getting there.

Man, you got a whole shitload of custom charts. They look really interesting too. This is a really great southern rock chart right here. I like how you got Ozark Mountain Daredevils. I like them too.

I recommend "Danger Zone" and "Song for the Outlaw" from Doc Holliday.

Hi ecwashere. Blackfoot! Of course. Need to add at least one album of theirs. Don't own any doc holiday and I need to own it for it to qualify for the chart. Any suggestions?

The south will rise again! Great chart! But there is a few Blackfoot albums missing, and no Doc Holiday.

Thanks for visiting my chart edubs. Couldn't agree more re: Warren Haynes. Wonderfully talented individual.

Nice chart. Southern Rock needs more love around here. Some other bands that I enjoy that are considered southern rock include Cry of Love, Pride & Glory, and the Tedeschi Trucks Band. I also throw some southern blues rock in there like Stevie Ray Vaughan, Kenny Wayne Shepherd, and Johnny Lang.
