Very good album :)

great rock'n'roll album. imo the title track is the dullest one. and the vocals are mixed quite thin and anonymous.

This album was at it's the evolution of heavy metal. Judas Priest is the best HM band ever. Even better than Sabbath. All tracks rocked. Screamin' for Vengeance, Electric Eye, Riding on the Wind, Chains and Another Thing Comin' are Metal Anthems!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

So what have you got yourself into now? Judas Priest album in hand, 'Screaming For Vengeance' the title. What a title! Doesn't that just put the aims of the band down on the counter, you're getting what you're getting and that's that? Released in a time when Judas Priest could do little wrong. 'Screaming For Vengeance' and 'You've Got Another Thing Comin' are out and out bring down the pub and cheer along ballads for heavy heads. Playing is tight and nothing really runs past the 5 minute mark. At heart, these are guys who wanted to create a loud and sturdy hit single than twiddle the guitars and pedals in an extended jam. And like the other time, this band loves to rhyme. Check out 'Bloodstone' for that. And 'Riding On The Wind'. They are like the leather metal chain wielding cousin of Oasis! But... wow, do I prefer the songs here to most of their albums. Okay, '(Take These) Chains' maybe going into Bon Jovi territory but where is the fun if it was all the same? And 'Electric Eye' and 'The Hellion' start things off with a roar. They sure are highlights. Kept simple and great music. What more you want?

Top metal album! One of the best Judas Priest did. Electric Eye and Sceaming For Vengance are the best but if you have found yourself enjoying other Judas Priest albums then chances are all songs on here won't disappoint.
