I've excluded all albums that have higher 1970s ranks than the ones that I would give them. I did this to make room for some excellent albums that are underrated in my eyes. My "true" 1970s list can be found in my custom charts.

You've taken a really interesting approach here in creating what amounts to an "all-underrated" seventies chart. I like it. In so doing you've given priority to a number of albums I love: Big Star's 3rd, Marquee Moon, Pink Moon, and Maggot Brain. I hadn't noticed how many great celestially-themed albums there were in the seventies--a cosmic decade indeed. Great work on this chart!
