Rating metrics:
Outliers can be removed when calculating a mean average to dampen the effects of ratings outside the normal distribution. This figure is provided as the trimmed mean. A high standard deviation can be legitimate, but can sometimes indicate 'gaming' is occurring. Consider a simplified example* of an item receiving ratings of 100, 50, & 0. The mean average rating would be 50. However, ratings of 55, 50 & 45 could also result in the same average. The second average might be more trusted because there is more consensus around a particular rating (a lower deviation).
(*In practice, some charts can have several thousand ratings)
This chart has a Bayesian average rating of 83.8/100, a mean average of 82.4/100, and a trimmed mean (excluding outliers) of 83.3/100. The standard deviation for this chart is 11.7.

Your list is much different than mine. But it's all great music!
Nice to see "Forever Changes" as number two and "Marquee Moon" and "No Other" in the list.
Great list :)
i hope that forever changes returns to number 1
Really good chart. Inclusion of The Saints gets a thumbs up here!
Not my sort of stuff :s, so I gave your chart the ranking of the averages of the albums i've heard on it. Nice to see Berlin on there, it rarely gets recognized
VAN DER GRAAF GENERATOR!!! :O
You rock, dude.
really great. 90% perfect, bonus for a really great top 10. I agree with Rocket Fingers though... Genesis?
