This album is honestly perfect. It's everything I wanted it to be, and more. The lyrics and hooks have improved from the already great "Saturation," and the group has even more personality and character in this one. If I didn't know about the background of the group, I wouldn't have known who was sort of supposed to be the "leader" of this group. It seems pretty clear this time that the songs revolve around Kevin Abstract's lyrical concepts and his addictive hooks. The beats on this album are outstandingly produced. The group experiments heavily on this album. They don't just have tastes of different genres. They go DEEPLY into an assortment of music styles. I seriously hope that this album gets a higher rating. 75 is obscenely low for an album on this level. (Edited)
Brockhampton really just dropped the two best albums of the year. Incredible.
Better than the first one
I still think the original Saturation was better then this. But this was great. Love the globe trotting on this record and the struggle of young adults/teens that were born from the early 90's through the early 2000's is still there.
The production on this record add onto what they were going towards on SATURATION. You also get a sense of what each member is good at vocally. Honestly this may be better than its predecessor.
