"Great album. There's a way that Claypool's bass and Herb's drums explosively pop together that's unique to early Primus. You really hear it here and on Seas of Cheese." Reply
"Lovely pastoral pop/rock from New Zealand. Probably not as good as Fear of God, The Bats' best, still a solid second." Reply
"A fun album, by modern standards many could feel this being a tad corn, pretty damn close to a joke. Incredible vocals and music for parties...." Reply
"I agree, and in 1974, the movie "Alice doesn't live here anymore" (Martin Scorcese)opens with "all the way from memphis" (Mott the hoople)..one of the all time greatest openings for a movie." Reply

"The Satanist is in a league of it's blackened death metal own. Very dark, very powerful, very Behemoth. Conceptually, it will not go down as my favorite album. Knowing that Nergal plays the part almost to a T (is he really a "satanist"? I suspect, yes, and I won't debate that with others), it doe..." [+] Reply
"Great album, i love the way Mastodon is heading. Is more radio-friendly, but if there was more stuff like this on the radio, this would be a better world. I'm actually enjoying this better than The Hunter. Some tracks are a mix of Blood Mountain with some Crack The Skye vocals by Brann." Reply
"Classic collection of her hits." Reply
