"It's telling when one of Kraftwerk's worst albums is still really good. This one in particular may lack any revolutionary streak that "Autobahn" had or the sublime melodies found in "The Man-Machine", but by subtly enveloping the listener in a melancholic atmosphere, "Electric Cafe" manages to cr..."  [+]  Reply

"those chainsaws, the eccentricity, that manic production! M.I.A's third LP "Maya" is a slice of brilliant avant-pop/hip-hop/punk that'll certainly be remembered as the weirdest and most polarising piece of art from one of the most controversial sonic geniuses of our generation. A sorely underappr..."  [+]  Reply

"Fantastic retro album that really captures that pre psychedelic sixties sound. The sounds of Dusty Springfield and Lulu are all over the record. As a deliberate attempt to make a sixties drenched album, it works brilliantly. Pity she couldn't follow it up."  Reply

"Lovely background music. I really don't know how much credit to give to these electronica DJs. I have a friend who is working on his Phd in music. He writes brilliant symphonies, is a master of piano, guitar and plays other instruments. Seems to me to require a lot more talent than sampling recor..."  [+]  Reply

"This is a very unique album. The musicianship is superb and the styles weave between rock, jazz, prog and the downright bizarre. I think this is the best of the Radio Gnome trilogy. 'You' is strong, but this is the most intersting listen imo. If I can, I want to get this and Flying Teapot on viny..."  [+]  Reply

"Im starting to see a trend of people being too sensitive for a lot of good music on this website. Too sensitive to get it, and you create the same propaganda the media did at the time of these releases in an attempt to silence them. Actually listen and get rid of that ego. If you think this is ac..."  [+]  Reply

"This is an intriguing and unique listen with a fresh concept I have never heard before. They attempt to craft a musical recreation of the four elements and for the most part it works very well. It creates strong images and ideas in the listeners head and the way they use tempo to create the eleme..."  [+]  Reply
