"A very strong debut album. Hints at what Tull were to become but stand out. Their 3 earlier albums (Stand Up, This Was & Benefit) are blues rock and stand slightly apart from the rest of their musical corpus. If you are into late 60s-early 70s blues-rock, these early Tull albums are essential." Reply
"You guys moaning about not liking the compilations, saying stuff like you don't like them being removed from their "original albums", well, a lot of those songs weren't even originally on any albums. If you want certain songs, I.e; I feel fine, she loves you, paperback writer, lady Madonna, hey j..." [+] Reply

"Metal goes jazz. The production's amazing. I think Albini "recorded" this. Regardless, it swings." Reply
"Raye demonstrates a complete and total command of R&B, Soul, Blues, Rap, and EDM. What makes her stand apart from legions of other A-level performers is the way she blends these styles with a deeper understanding of what the music is saying, then combining it with her own original perspective, fu..." "Just as good if not better than 2012-2017. Fantasy, Penny, and With an Addict are the standouts but there isn't a single bad track on here." Reply

"Understandably overshadowed by what would come later from the Mk II version of the band. However, this is a very solid debut album that the Mk I version of the band would never be able to top. Hush, Mandrake Root, Help!, and Hey Joe are all great." Reply

"Great, personal lyrics, but unfortunately the samey production keeps Saba from separating himself from the wave of Chicago rap. Best track: LIFE" Reply

"A very under appreciated classic. A straight up, old school rock and roll record. Chinese Rocks, Born to Lose, All By Myself...this is "nothing fancy taken to the highest level." Reply
"Second album from the Stranglers, no more heroes, is another superb record. Great sneering and sarcastic songs from Hugh Cornwell and co. I feel like a wog, something better change, and the superb title track are a few of the standouts. The Stranglers were great at this point." Reply
