"This is a really good album that you fall asleep but in a good way. You don't need to pay attention to it but if you do, it's rewarding in its own unique experience. Diverse yet cohesive. "Like an XXX-era Danny Brown if he was raised on tea and biscuits in a Northampton council estate. And that's not an arbitrary comparison. When I first listened to Nothing Great About Britain, the yelping raps, bipolar tones and erratic production instantly had me picturing a younger Danny Brown. ..."  [+]  Reply

"I recently became acquainted with the Neil Hannon project "The Duckworth Lewis Method" and was very impressed by the album. British music tradition in the vein of great songwriters like Ray Davies and Pete Townsend. I subsequently wanted to listen more closely to some of the recent The Divine Com..."  [+]  Reply

"Mary Margaret O'Hara is one of the greatest singer songwriters of all-time. Her masterpiece, Miss America (1988), took four years to materialize but it was worth the wait. O'Hara's quirky voice is an instrument in itself, a super-human fusion of avantgarde techniques (such as those pioneered by M..."  [+]  Reply

"I suppose that with a compilation like this you'll get some unnecessary tracks, such as sitting through 3 takes of "Communication Breakdown", but you should come to this looking for those brief moments where your ear is surprised. Plenty of them to be found here, plus you get "Traveling Riverside..."  [+]  Reply

"Were it not for the vocals, I can easily imagine this would be amazing, but those vocals are impossible to ignore (luckily enough there are many instrumentals parts, which are all highly enjoyable)."  Reply

"Second album from Prince and a step up from "For You". I Wanna Be Your Lover, Bambi, Why You Wanna Treat Me So Bad, With You & I Feel For You are the stand out tracks. The other tracks are all 75/100. I still listen to this album and it always leaves a smile on my face."  Reply
