"I suppose that with a compilation like this you'll get some unnecessary tracks, such as sitting through 3 takes of "Communication Breakdown", but you should come to this looking for those brief moments where your ear is surprised. "Rich layers of instrumention, enjoyable if not all that impressive. Maybe at bit overproduced at times - everything but the kitchen sink, sort of thing. Bit too much keyboard. I liked the funky bass, guitars and horns. Some good moments when they let their players riff, e.g. end of "Revolution 19..." [+] Reply

"This is definitely an album that is different, unlike much of anything you’ll hear. I was trying to give this album a genre, trying to figure out what it would fit into and I decided on a somewhat pop, somewhat R&B feel.
