"It's monolithic. A massive, unique sound (punk quartet plus orchestra) that mostly lives up to the ambition of the songs. It feels conceptual too, like a Grand Statement. I love some songs more than others but the good ones are seriously good. Pain Killer is in my Top 10 songs of the year so far." Reply

"Kicking against the pricks, is one of those rare covers albums, where instead of sounding like an indulgent karaoke record, here, it actually sounds like an LP. "Silhouettes is an amazing song and takes up 1/4 of the album’s runtime. If the whole album were like it this would immediately make my top 50. Unfortunately the rest of the album is just OK. EDIT: Rest of the album wound up growing on me quite a bit" Reply
