"What's immediately obvious is how thick this album is. Clocking in at just below the 40 minutes mark, you get the impression the material would easily justify an extra 10 or so minutes without dragging at all. It's not easy to digest, after two listens I am barely scratching the surface. This has..."  [+]  Reply

"For me Dragnet is a vast improvement on Live At The Witch Trials, it quite simply has better songs. Spectre Vs Rector towers over anything they recorded in the late 70's, a classic tale of exorcism set to an eerie guitar line. Flat Of Angles is also worth a mention as it is as catchy as the Fall ..."  [+]  Reply

"Unreal beats. Wild and thought-provoking raps that compliment the music perfectly to create an authentically dark listening experience. All of the emcees work really well together."  Reply

"I was first put onto Gilla Band a few years ago, but had never listened to a full album of theirs until now. ‘Most Normal’ was along the lines of what I expected, offering up a satiating blend of sardonic humour and post punk indie type tracks, interspersed with crushing noise and heavy distorted..."  [+]  Reply

"This album is better than the eponymously title release in some ways - the production is beefier in the guitar area, which suits such songs like Hot Blooded, Double Vision and Lonely Children. However, it isn't quite as consistent as their predecessor as You're All I Am and I Have Waited So Long ..."  [+]  Reply

"So in my drive to support women in rock & roll, I listened to several Runaways cassettes, coming away mostly unimpressed, but thinking the bass player had ears, and whoever wrote the song about being a "Cherry Bomb" understood rock & roll on some primal attitudinal level that deserved respect.
