"What I'm most impressed with on this is that many electronic albums have a repetitive base upon which they build... I never felt that way with this - the dynamics and unique beats/samples, etc. were seemingly so effortlessly mixed together, yet were masterful."  Reply

"After the wonderful Room 25, Sundial leaves me feeling flat. The hooks come and go and the music doesn’t go very many exciting places even with much of it being solid and rooted in styles that dazzle me with very little effort. Lyrically, Noname no doubt spits impressively all over the album, but..."  [+]  Reply

"While this is not one of my favorite Sloan albums (as of today, I would rank it 9th out of their 12 albums), "One Chord To Another" is still a really good album. My favorite tracks are "The Lines You Amend" and "400 Meters". Most Sloan's albums have a strong tracklist from beginning to end, but I..."  [+]  Reply

"This album surpasses shoegaze: it's just one of the best albums of the nineties and the opening trio is amazing although all three the tracks are very different. The positive vibes of this album are just hitting you like a hailstorm."  Reply

"My only major complaint is that a lot of this album doesn't feel like it explores much new territory for the band, but I can easily forgive them because they pull off their sound so well. Despite that, I will say that this album does have a much darker tone than their previous work, which is defi..."  [+]  Reply
