"The follow up to GYBR suffered in comparison but on its own this is a great little collection of songs. Not the best album from the golden era 1970-75 when 9 studio albums were released but also not the worst Rock of the Westies is not as good as this. Best tracks are The Bitch Is Back ,Pinky, Ti..." "Another of Nina Simone's brilliant 1960's albums. High priestess of soul, as always with Simone, is another quirky record with excellent songs. Standouts include, don't you pay them no mind, keeper of the flame, and, I hold no grudge. All good stuff." Reply

"Easy to forget how bizarre this solo debut is, with the super-tight UK musicians and female backing vocals. Most of it is Velvet Underground left-overs, and every single one was done better in the demo/outtake versions by them. And what the hell is going on on the album cover?" Reply
