"Everyone had written off Weiland and the STPers at this point in the 90's, but going back and listening to this one 10 years after the fact, I'm not sure why. No, it wasn't Purple or Core, but it still had some very good moments, and if some of these songs had been released four years earlier the..."  [+]  Reply

"A very good pop album. Varied and long enough not to sound too generic and 'pretty', strong melodic knowhow, a few more ordinary songs in a very codified genre makes it just short of 'excellent'. If you like 80s college pop-rock, power-pop and the Paisley Underground scene, by all means check thi..."  [+]  Reply

"It's loud and relatively mindless. The lyricism is nearly non-existent, defaulting to relationship issues and devious sexual topics, and the music composition is reflective of catering to a broad general audience. Worse still is Chad Kroeger's consistently constipated vocals and lazy enunciation...."  [+]  Reply

"I respectfully have to disagree with BEA contributer Fischman regarding the Wilson sisters descent into mediocrity with this album. While it is true that they began to often rely on Record company shill songwriters like Diane Warren and Billy Steinberg to pen most of their songs, Ann and Nancy co..."  [+]  Reply

"It's a quite lame album from the Journey and does not have too many good songs on it. This kind of AOR stuff is suitable for adult radio stations but I guess these songs do not get much air time. Forgettable.."  Reply

"Morby impressed on his last album and this one confirms his knack for infectious, breezy melodies. It's unwaveringly retro once again, for the most part sounding like Morby's record collection consists entirely of Rubber Soul and Blond on Blond (except for an uncharacteristic Ramones tribute). I ..."  [+]  Reply
