"Steve Earle's sixth studio album (1996, Warner Brothers) is a major disappointment. The first comeback record was an acoustic album with some of Earle's finest material. I Feel Alright has Earle returning to his electric ensemble, but no material here comes close to the winners on Guitar Town and..."  [+]  Reply

"Stephen Malkmus is amazing, he really is. I’ve always been a huge fan of Pavement because their music is so creative and well done. I would say this album is equally as good as any Pavement album (outside of maybe “Crooked Rain, Crooked Rain"). They lyrics are cleverly written, the music is great..."  [+]  Reply

"Roger Hodgson's first solo effort after leaving Supertramp, and it's a damn good one. Clearly had a lot left in the tank by the time he left the band with this album oozing the same creativity and energy that Supertramp records were known for. I think this is stronger than his final album with th..."  [+]  Reply

"Probably the best pur hard-core punk of the 80s. Well this or the Bad Brain debut as I consider Dead Kennedys a more elaborate punk band who just got labeled hard-core because of the scene in which they played."  Reply

"I know its a generalization, but why is it that all freshman albums by rappers end up being very amateur and unoriginal? Good album, not terrible, but certainly not worth several replays. It has its moments, but as a whole, it doesn't do justice like his second and third album. 6.4"  Reply

"I was initially turned off by Ani's apparent anger until my wife urged me to give her a chance. This is the album that turned me. "Tiptoe" is so vulnerable that any wrath she spews afterward is kind of beautiful, a plea for honesty and equality in a world that chews up the weak and spits them out..."  [+]  Reply

"The 5th T.REX album proper but the first to use the shortened name. This was a breakthrough album for them it is in the same vein as Beard Of Stars but a little more cohesive. The single Ride A White Swan was already in the charts when this album was released although it does not appear on the al..."  [+]  Reply
