"This album is not their 2nd best. Is actually one of their worst. Wings of Tomorrow is their best. 2nd best is their "Out of this World" album. Third is "The Final Countdown". Fourth is their very first album which was great. Prisoners of Paradise reminds me of the beginning of a child's cartoon...."  [+]  Reply

"From the very beginning, this remarkable band was distinguished by its inventive music, featuring a variety of magnificent vocal harmonies (performed by four vocalists), stylish melodies, and a delightful sense of humor and eccentricity (in the spirit of Zappa and Captain Beefheart). Of course, t..."  [+]  Reply

"The final album of the Cardigans took me a while to really grasp in the fullest. Most of it was kinda same-y and boring on the first few listens, but eventually it took grip and never let go. A great listen. Best song: In The Round (not even close second)"  Reply

"I debate whether this is Fleetwood Mac's best, (Of their first three or so incarnations) but is is definitely a guilty pleasure with "Emerald Eyes," "Forever," with its hypnotic guitar riffs, and of course, "Hypnotized." Perhaps Bob Welch was reading Carlos Castaneda..."  [+]  Reply

"This album makes me really angry. The whole concept of this music is to evoke the "primitive" lifestyles of the "savage" peoples of Africa. The title of the album, "Ritual of the Savage", exemplifies so perfectly Les Baxter's ignorance towards non-Western cultures. HOWEVER, this music is just so ..."  [+]  Reply

"This is outrageously good. It keeps hovering near all these different genres but refusing to be sucked into them, instead drawing everything into its folky/droney/raga/psychedelic belly. The sound palette is gorgeous. It just goes all over the place. I linked this to a friend who described the op..."  [+]  Reply
