"One of the better 'latter day' Kinks albums. Ray Davies' songwriting is as strong as ever, and I do suspect that if this album was released during the band's classic period, misfits, just might be looked upon as one of their best albums. Very good." Reply
"There is no way a monkey could ever type Hamlet, but I am pretty sure a monkey or at the very least a group of monkeys could create a similar album to Animal Collective's Danse Manatee. "Solid album. Mother, Where You Stand and Another Guy are the best on here but they;re all 80 rated or there about songs." Reply
"The singles off this albums are some of the best sounding recordings that you can find from the period. They're very well written and benefit from the wide array of sessions musicians employed, especially John Paul Jones. Stevens' voice lends itself much better to softer songs like "Portobello Ro..."
