From the late 60s up until this year's music I'm most unfamiliar with 87, 88 and 89. Also 90 & 91. Any recommendations of less popular albums during those years? Something badass and experimental would be a plus.

I have so many listened to for 89. It's a gold mine.

88 & 87 charts need an update.

Here are some from 89 that are not on your chart.

Hats by The Blue Nile

Distemper by The New Christs

Floating Into The Night by Julee Cruise

Love Is Hell by Kitchens Of Distinction

Here are my favorites in each year that you haven't rated or charted:

'87

Substance by New Order

This one isn't rare, but it's essential listening even if you've heard their albums.

'88

Spring Fever! by The Pussywillows

This one is rare.

'89

Deep Listening by Pauline Oliveros, Stu... Panaiotis

This one is somewhere between rare and not rare.

Wrong by NoMeansNo

A really great synth / dance pop album:

Thanks! Talk Talk are great! Pretty sure I've heard that one once but haven't added it yet. Will have to revisit it for sure. Really like another one of theirs. Your other picks look promising.
