Silver Dollar Moment by The Orielles

Love this lot...anyhow got my blue vinyl copy signed at their Rough Trade gig the other week. Promising debut.

I saw them live back in August and they were great. Didn't really think the LP was anywhere near as good as it could/should have been, especially as "Sugar Tastes Like Salt" (by far their best track) isn't on it.

Yeah I know what you mean...Shame ‘Sugar tastes like salt’ isn’t on it as I love that track with it’s nod to ska. Also the last track ‘Blue suitcase (disco wrist)’ was like listening to Orange Juice live (might have been the beer) but here it doesn’t sound half as good. Still an enjoyable album but it certainly doesn’t catch that live energy of the band.

Fold Your Hands Child, You Walk Like A ... Sebastian

Vinyl reissue. An album that’s really grown on me over the years since it’s release.
