Outliers can be removed when calculating a mean average to dampen the effects of ratings outside the normal distribution. This figure is provided as the trimmed mean. The Ohio singer's follow-up to Somewhere Else. The songs are a little less rife with angst, but still very reflective on life and love. She struggles a little bit with the production on this record. Still decent. Love turns into lust and milk turns into clumps...love it.

Lydia goes through some growing pains as her sound (and production budget) gets bigger, as the more slicker production sometimes mutes the rawer potency of her presentation & songwriting rather than augmenting them. Her best moments still show the one-of-a-kind talent Loveless is, but Real doesn't always get the details right.
