Aretha does not need fake lives...
A good early jazz/soul record from Aretha but spoilt slightly by the fake applause added to the songs. Recorded live in the studio, the intention was to make sound like a concert recording. Fortunately, the CD version features the album and the songs without the fake applause as bonus tracks. Much better. A good album then, just nothing spectacular.
